Discovering Missions at VCC

It's our desire, here at VCC, to not only meet the needs of people here in our area, but to reach out to our state, our country and to the international community beyond our borders.

What ever your interest and budget, our Mission's Department has missions projects and trips that everyone can get involved in.  Here are our latest venues.

Here in Houma:
     Hope Extreme - a ministry to the young men and women of Senators Circle. This ministry often needs carpenters, painters, or anyone willing to work to help build and finish the buildings of this project.  Watch the bulletin for times and dates for this project.

     City Missions- This past summer in '09 we at Victory went out into the streets of Houma an served the needs of our community in the simplest ways. From giving out free water bottles on Martin, Luther Blvd., to giving out bouquets of flowers to working single moms and having free carwashes, amongst several other missions, we served our city and continue to do so monthly. If you would like to be apart of City Missions, join a small group and see what act of kindness they will be doing this month.

Supporting our Assemblies of God Missionaries
         We at VCC support 11 missionaries monthly.  These dedicated men and women are located all over the world including two college ministries here in Louisiana.  Your offerings marked toward missions helps us support these missionaries, as well as, send them other supplies they may need.  You can also email them and show support.  Contact Tammy Perri to find out more.
